Our mission is to educate both the public and its leaders on the benefits of cannabis by providing the advocacy service of education relating to history, civics, law, horticulture, science, and medicine. In addition, Connecticut NORML provides tireless campaigns for both the patient and recreational cannabis consumer and their right for an environment that provides cannabis which is legal, safe, affordable, and benefits the community as a whole.
In 2017, Connecticut was the first state to have a Gubernatorial Debate on Cannabis and Drug Reform. The debate hosted by Connecticut NORML and Yale SSDP is only one of the many initiatives put forth to end prohibition locally.
Connecticut NORML advocates for improvements to the state medical program and the full legalization and adult-use of cannabis.
Make a difference and join in our initiative to legalize the cannabis plant and expand medical access in Connecticut.
